The Lost Art of Not Kicking People in the Face

about

Last month, the frontman of the band Queens of the Stone Age had a quite embarrassing incident where, in a typical "shakes fists at millennials" fashion, decided to kick a camera out of the hands of a girl in the front row.

Except, well, he kicked the camera right into her face and she spent the rest of the night in the ER.

So this is a parody of Queens of the Stone Age's "The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret" immortalizing his dickishness into song.

lyrics

You've got a camera
And I've gotta play
Kids and your cell phones
Put them away
I snorted something

Guitar's in my hand
I'm high on coke and
I'm in a band
Industry peeps, I don't doubt
Probably say this when your record's out

Whatever you do, don't kick anyone
Whatever you do, don't kick anyone

Whoops kicked the camera
In your face
Giving no fucks why
You're in this place
What, you bought tickets?
Supporting my band?
You wanna post me on
Your instagram?
Apparently, this contract I signed
It says I can't poke
Out people's eyes
I read nothing in that deal
How should I know when to heel?

Whatever you do, don't kick anyone
Whatever you do, don't kick anyone

Shit, the audience knows
Twelve angles of shots on this page
Shit, they all had phones
You don't think about that on cocaine

Whatever you do, don't kick anyone
Whatever you do, don't kick anyone
